Came to vacation here from Ohio. Hotel was walking distance to this place and let me tell you, the food was just amazing. We were told it was going to be a hour and a half wait and then we got right in at the bar not even 5 minutes later and the bartender was great. The drinks and the food was out of this world. Crab cakes and shrimp and their Mac and cheese is to die for. And the cornbread ???????? would recommend anyone coming to this fine establishment!
You absolutely should try this place if in town! My cousin lives here and was able to get our group a last minute reservation and I’m so glad he steered us this way! The service was amazing and the food was delicious. I got the Brussels and Gouda grit fries for some of us to split and then the surf n turf with regular grits and all were so yummy!
My family and I love eating at Acme Lowcountry Kitchen. The food is always amazing and the service is great every time. If you get a chance to get Travis as your server I highly recommend him! If you want to have a great experience and eat some authentic Charleston Lowcountry cuisine then you need to get into Acme for your next meal!
Great meal, always consistent - great gluten free gf options. In 20 years of coming to IOP, Acme always delivers! Got take out and aside from having to call in a few times to get through - meal was easy to pick up and delicious. Take out staff even helped carry out the extra bag while the place was packed. Great value for money.
Any time I go to Charleston, I make sure to stop in for breakfast. Their food is always consistent, but my go to dish is their French Toast with bacon, which I order extra crispy. They also serve lunch and dinner. The service is always good. The pricing of the food is on the expensive side but well worth it.
Delicious food! This restaurant came highly recommended on the island and they did not disappoint. Be prepared for a 45 minute to an hour wait when busy. Our server, Travis, was great and made our very first visit a special one. Even the manager stopped by our table to ensure things were going well. We enjoyed ourselves so much we came back for brunch! Highly recommend!
Stumbled across this place & absolutely LOVE it. The food is amazing and the staff is great! Our Server David was super helpful! The manager even came by & spoke with us! The Biscuits & Gravy are to die for, homemade biscuits & flavorful gravy & fresh tomatoes …almost better than my family recipe! The omelets are HUGE & well worth it! Will be returning for sure!
one of my favorite spots in the charleston area. youll be hard pressed to find shrimp and grits better than this. ive had a good amount of meals at this place and never once has one let me down. treat your taste buds. travis also does a great job here and puts the work in. top service mate.
Stopped at Acme Lowcountry kitchen for lunch while beaching it at Isle of Palms. Fantastic little café with very flavorful food. Service was lovely, and my shrimp and grits were very very delicious. Recommend!
This place!!! Food was absolutely amazing. Amberjack was perfect and fresh. We visited for the first time this week and we will definitely be returning. Thank you Acme ! Well done!
